I’m proud to announce and invite you to join us for the 4th Annual TETCO Dan Cook Memorial Classic set for June 4, 2012 at the La Cantera Golf Resort. Last year’s event was a great success, grossing around $75,000 for inner-city youth at SA Youth, formerly San Antonio Youth Centers. This year’s event, again sponsored by TETCO, will be even better.

Held in memory of our family friend and legendary sports columnist Dan Cook, this event is vital to the mission of SA Youth.

As you may remember, Dan Cook was instrumental in developing SA Youth along with the Dan Cook Center located on Poplar Street. Today, SA Youth works to prevent kids from dropping out of school and gives those who have quit school a second chance for success. SA Youth programs include: tutoring, music lessons, job training opportunities, educational advancement, physical fitness, character education and life skills, healthy meals and other youth development opportunities.

At TETCO, we believe everyone deserves the chance to reach their potential and make their dreams come true. As personal friends of Dan Cook and the Cook family, the Turner family and TETCO are pleased to bring you this event and hope you will keep Dan’s memory alive by supporting this fun and exciting golf tournament this June.
